**Department Overview**: Envysion, a Motorola Solutions company, is a leading provider of enterprise video security and AI solutions for the restaurant and retail industries. Envysion improves restaurant and retail profitability by helping customers make smarter business decisions every day, through actionable insights derived from best-in-class managed video software and services.
**This position will be responsible for supporting Envysion’s ongoing preservation and optimization of deployed security systems at customer sites, including but not limited to: intrusion detection, video surveillance, panic buttons, and access control.
This position will also provide administrative support to Envysion’s Access Control Program and will assist with the implementation of access control systems for Envysion customers.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Conduct quality analysis reviews of alarms and events generated by Envysion’s deployed security systems and document findings
- Perform reviews of security system configurations to ensure security system deployments are meeting performance expectations
- Provide internal support for inquiries relating to alarm responses by Envysion’s monitoring station
- Meet with internal and external customers to provide feedback and resolve reported issues
- Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments to identify and be notified of recently deployed security systems
- Identify and escalate technical issues within security system hardware and software and notify appropriate parties
- Gather and input various forms of data into spreadsheets and maintain multiple reporting tools
- Regularly create and distribute security system reports and notifications to internal and external customers
- Maintain project management files and associated information for access control installation projects
- Meet with installation partners and internal and external customers to review and coordinate access control installations
- Perform initial configurations and site acceptance testing for new access control system installations
- Assist with initial troubleshooting efforts for customer reported issues with deployed access control systems
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent, Bachelor's degree preferred
- 2+ years experience using or maintaining physical security systems including but not limited to: access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection, duress, alarm communication and display systems, etc.
- Previous experience with inputting and managing large amounts of data
- Ability to demonstrate an analytical mindset to determine root causes and process improvements
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Strong oral, written, presentation and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
Target Base Salary Range: $43,200 - $50,000 CAD
