Welcome to One Voice Changemakers Alliance, where we're dedicated to combatting homelessness and mental health issues with compassion and innovation. At our organization, we believe in providing safe, stable housing and mental health support for everyone in need.

**Job Overview**:
We're currently seeking passionate individuals to join our Board of Directors. As a Board Member, you'll play a crucial role in guiding our organization's strategic direction and policies.

We're specifically looking for individuals with expertise in:

- Legal
- Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion
- Planning / Events
- Fundraising
- Social Media

**Must-Haves**:

- A strong passion for community service.

**Duties**:

- **Administrative Tasks**:

- Attend and actively participate in board meetings.
- Review financial reports and strategic plans.
- **Educational Initiatives**:

- Support educational programs and initiatives.
- Work to improve educational outcomes for stakeholders.
- **Marketing Strategies**:

- Contribute to marketing campaigns and outreach efforts.
- Assist in promoting our mission and values.
- **Data Collection and Analysis**:

- Analyze data to inform decision-making.
- Utilize data for strategic planning.
- **Public Speaking**:

- Represent the organization at public events and conferences.
- Deliver speeches on our behalf.
- **Recruiting Efforts**:

- Participate in board member recruitment.
- **Project Management**:

- Oversee specific projects or initiatives.
- Ensure project goals are achieved within deadlines.
- **Leadership Role**:

- Provide guidance to our staff and volunteers.
- Uphold our values and mission statement.
- **Supervisory Responsibilities**:

- Supervise specific departments or teams.
- Offer mentorship and support to team members.

**Requirements**:

- Previous board or leadership experience preferred.
- Strong communication skills for collaboration with diverse stakeholders.
- Demonstrated commitment to our mission and values.
- Availability for board meetings, committee work, and organizational events.
- 10 hours per month availability

**Deadline: May 15, 2024**

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 24 months

Flexible Language Requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- On call
- Weekends as needed
