Junior Buyer

The Supply Management team is looking for a** Junior Buyer** who is keen to take on the initiative and contribute to managing & exploiting changing business conditions to deliver the best value procurement to the organization.

The role centers around a clear understanding of procure to pay processes as well as ERP expertise to perform day to day procurement of low dollar value of goods and services. This role will also support Senior Buyers for RFX and other strategic procurement and contract management initiatives.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Souring, negotiating, and placing orders for low dollar value goods and services.
- Expediting outstanding purchase orders and resolving invoices and purchase order discrepancies.
- Establishing and managing relationships with vendors and updating vendor data in ERP.
- Assisting with preparation of RFX packages and contracts as directed by Senior Buyers.

**Key Qualifications**
- Diploma or certificate in Supply Management, Business Administration, or related discipline,
- Good understanding of procure to pay processes and basic knowledge of contracts.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in ERP systems especially Oracle or Maximo is a significant asset.
