Overview:
The Lot Coordinator will be responsible for all operations relating to their assigned vehicle holding compound. This includes following and maintaining standards and best practices regarding vehicle movement within the yard as well as entering and exiting the yard. Ensuring vehicles are stored in an orderly and organized fashion and required administration and record-keeping is properly maintained and kept up-to-date. Working in a cooperative and service-oriented manner with suppliers and customers. Should be flexible to accommodate variety of shifts. The Compound is located in Whitby.
- This is a temporary role, ending April 26, 2024.

What You Will Do:

- Ensure all property, buildings, fences and access gates are properly maintained and operational.
- Check-in and check-out vehicles in accordance with operational procedures.
- Control release of vehicles with approval and filing of vehicle release forms.
- Perform daily inventory checks and update inventory records.
- Ensure vehicles are properly identified with required markings (VIN on windscreen etc.).
- Enter vehicle arrival and departure information into EBlock’s operations system.
- Capture vehicles for auction as required.
- Manage the orderly and timely performance of post-sale inspections.
- Move and park vehicles in an orderly fashion.
- Organize vehicles in the yard in accordance with lot operations guidelines.
- Maintain secure storage of vehicles and vehicle keys.
- Ensure all yard operations are conducted with employee health and safety in mind.
- Other duties as assigned

What You Will Need:

- Experience: Automotive and/or wholesale auto auction experience preferred but not required. Proficient user of MS Office software. Familiarity with general office procedures.

Work Conditions:

- The scheduled shift will be: 8:30am-5:00pm
- Work Environment Outdoor work in varying weather conditions. Some indoor work related to general administrative duties
- Physical Demands: Ability to work outside and be on foot for extended periods of time. Vision abilities required include close, distance, color and depth perception. Ability to walk medium to long distances during the work day.
