Yantzi Home Building Centre in Tavistock, Ontario is looking for people like you to join our growing team. We are a family owned and operated business for over 70 years. We serve the Tavistock and surrounding areas open from 7:30 am to 5:30 Monday to Friday and Saturday 8:00 to 4:00 pm and closed on Sundays.

**RESPONSIBLITIES**:

- Deliver products and/or supplies to customers, vendors, job sites or other locations in a timely manner.
- Ensure a positive customer experience.
- Duties include operating freight handling equipment, forklifts, Moffat, Boom, pushcarts etc.
- Conduct daily pre-trip inspections, circle check of vehicle (check oil etc.) and report vehicle maintenance to his/her supervisor.
- Assist with the loading and unloading of trucks and general yard duties as required.

**QUALIFICTIONS**:

- Must be able to communicate effectively with customers, management, and fellow co-workers
- Minimum 1 - 3 years’ experience of truck driving.
- Willing to become knowledgeable about building supplies
- Must be able to visually verify contents of shipments
- Available to work alternating Saturdays with a weekday off.
- Physically fit, ability to lift heavy objects
- Team player with safe working habits.
