**Scope of the Position**
The Inventory Manager will be responsible for managing the Inventory function, including reporting, evaluating, forecasting, and planning.
**Major Responsibilities**:
- Manage and maintain the company’s material and stocked product inventory including stock profiles and stock locations
- Ensures effective inventory control processes, analyzes physical inventory, establishes and maintains inventory discrepancy investigations, and generates appropriate reporting to maintain adequate inventory levels and appropriate control
- Manage and control perpetual inventory stock counting/inventory accuracy checks
- Responsible for managing and running planned stock takes
- Perform cyclic stock checks
- Ensure integrity and accuracy of the stock management system
- Produce daily reports to ensure key critical areas of the stock system are controlled and any discrepancies addressed and resolved
- Manage control measures to ensure mistakes, inaccuracies and discrepancies are highlighted, addressed, and resolved
- Other duties as required and assigned by management
**Skills and Qualifications**
- Experience in inventory management/purchasing preferably in a wholesale environment
- Strong understanding of MRP and inventory control/management systems and ERP
- Experience with Eclipse system preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for a demanding and customer-focused working environment
- Strong organization and business administration skills in accordance with modern best practice methods
- Ability to show initiative and drive while working productively, efficiently, accurately & effectively under tight timelines and pressure
- Willingness to learn, improve and adapt.
- Able to demonstrate strong leadership and the ability to assume increasing responsibilities in a rapidly-changing environment
