- Responsibilities- Assist the Food and Beverage Manager in day-to-day operations, procedures, and events.
- Ensure proper set up and organization of all aspects of the restaurant, including inventory, equipment, tables, chairs, and other furniture on the floor.
- Enforce cleaning duties and keep staff busy during slow points and cut accordingly.
- Manage inventory and place orders with departments as needed.
- Hold pre-shift meetings and continually build the knowledge of all staff, including hosting tastings of new beer releases with or without food pairings, offering brewing knowledge to service staff, informing service staff of upcoming events, etc.
- Ensure greeting and gratitude towards customers and manage customer complaints to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Manage reservations and events and ensure that they are properly organized and handled.
- Manage shifts for floor staff, including break times, cut times, clock in and out times.
- Monitor and manage cash and credit card transactions on the floor and cashouts as needed.
- Monitor compliance with liquor, safety, and hygiene regulations.
- Participate in the development and implementation of marketing plans to promote the establishment, show convention space, and organize/decorate for special events.
- Qualifications- 1+ years of experience in food and beverage management.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to manage and motivate a team.
- Knowledge of liquor, safety, and hygiene regulations.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
- Passion for providing excellent customer service.
- Brewery and beer knowledge a huge bonus
