We are seeking an experienced and creative Chef to lead our kitchen team. As a Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen, including menu planning, food preparation, cooking, and presentation. You will also be responsible for managing kitchen staff, ensuring the quality and consistency of our dishes, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen.
**Responsibilities**:
- Develop and execute new and innovative menus and dishes
- Oversee all aspects of the kitchen, including menu planning, food preparation, cooking, and presentation
- Manage and supervise kitchen staff
- Ensure the quality and consistency of our dishes
- Manage inventory and ordering of kitchen supplies and ingredients
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen and cooking area
- Follow all safety and sanitation procedures to ensure the safety of our customers and staff
- Other duties as assigned by the head chef or kitchen manager
**Requirements**:
- 5+ years of experience as a Chef in a high-volume commercial kitchen or restaurant
- Culinary degree or equivalent certification is preferred
- Creativity and innovation in menu planning and dish development
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team and delegate tasks effectively
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work early morning shifts, weekends and holidays
