**Requirements**:

- love dogs
- willingness to stay overnight at the pet store facility on shift during the week
- experience in animal care (boarding, veterinary, shelter) a plus
- knowledge of dog behavior and health.
- ability to handle different dog breeds and sizes.
- have excellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills
- possess problem solving skills
- be available to work during long weekends, during the summer and major holidays including Christmas and New Year's

**Responsibilities**:

- feeding dogs and cleaning used food dishes
- scooping and disposing of dog litter
- performing basic house keeping duties related to pet care only
- monitoring pets for health concerns

providing dogs with interactive attention

ensuring proper security measures are taken
- completion of reports and documentation
