Bell est à la recherche d’un ingénieur, Systèmes de commande de vol, pour appuyer le développement d’aéronefs classiques et à système de commande de vol électrique, avec ou sans pilote. Il travaillera aussi sur des plateformes et des produits nouveaux et novateurs comme le taxi aérien urbain et les systèmes de transport et de livraison de produits autonomes.

Le titulaire du poste travaillera au siège social de Bell situé à Mirabel, au Québec.
- Conception et essai de systèmes de commande de vol avec le logiciel intégré DO-178 et le matériel complexe DO-254, y compris les systèmes à commandes de vol électriques.
- Conception de systèmes et de logiciels, gestion des exigences, spécifications de systèmes, gestion des interfaces, évaluation de la sécurité des systèmes, essais de vérification et de validation dans un environnement de simulation sur ordinateur et dans les laboratoires d’intégration de systèmes, participation aux travaux liés aux essais en vol des aéronefs ainsi qu’à la qualification et la certification des systèmes et des aéronefs.
- Développement de l’architecture des systèmes, conception de systèmes et de logiciels, gestion de la redondance, conception et intégration de matériel électronique, conception et intégration de capteurs d’entrée, conception d’actionneurs et intégration des commandes.
- Développement de mécanismes de commande, de systèmes autonomes et d’algorithmes de flux de commandes pour véhicule aérien uniques, et intégration de la Loi de commandes de vol.
- Gestion des exigences, spécifications de systèmes, gestion des interfaces, évaluation de la sécurité des systèmes, essais de vérification et de validation dans un environnement de simulation sur ordinateur et dans les laboratoires d’intégration de systèmes, et participation aux activités liées aux essais en vol des aéronefs.

Bell has an opening for a Flight Controls Systems Engineer to support the development of conventional and Fly-By-Wire aircraft, both manned and un-manned, as well as new and novel products and platforms, such as autonomous Urban Air Taxi and Product transportation/delivery systems.

The systems requirements associated with these products are challenging and exciting. Our existing aircraft systems and emerging concept vehicles provide opportunities for systems engineering, simulation and test of configurations and technologies that will shape the future of aviation. This position will be part of a diverse team of engineers capable of executing in a challenging and fast-paced environment.

This position is located at Bell’s facility in Mirabel, Canada.
- Design and test of Flight Control Systems (FCS) with embedded DO-178 software and DO-254 complex hardware, including Fly-By-Wire Flight Control Systems
- System and software design, requirements management, systems specifications, interface management, system safety assessment, verification and validation testing in desktop simulation environment and systems integration labs, aircraft flight test, and aircraft/system qualification and certification
- Development of systems architecture, system and software design, redundancy management, electronic hardware design and integration, input sensor design and integration, and actuator design and controls integration
- Development of unique air vehicle control mechanisms, autonomous systems and control algorithms, and flight control law integration.
- Requirements management, systems specifications, interface management, system safety assessment, verification and validation testing in desktop simulation and systems integration labs, and participation in aircraft flight test activities
