Painter/labourer

We are a premium painting company looking for another detailed orientated craftsman/woman to join our tight knit team.

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform various painting and labor tasks as assigned
- Prepare surfaces for painting by scraping, sanding, and filling holes
- Follow safety guidelines and use protective equipment when necessary
- Clean and maintain painting tools and equipment
- Assist with general labor duties as needed
- Ability to lift, move, and work on ladders at different heights.
- Taping and protecting things that will not be painted.
- Cleaning up when job is complete. Including washing out brushes, buckets, and making sure the clients home is in perfect condition upon leaving.

**Skills**:

- Experience in painting is preferred
- Knowledge of different painting techniques and materials
- Strong customer service skills to interact with clients and address their needs
- Excellent time management skills to meet project deadlines
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and clients
- Ability to operate rigging equipment for elevated painting tasks
- Knowledge of drywall installation and repair techniques

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $18.00-$25.00 per hour

- painting: 1 year (preferred)
