WeeCare Pediatric Home Health Care is currently hiring a Part-time PSW. If you enjoy working as a private duty PSW in a home care environment, this is the job for you

**Shifts are two weekday afternoons and one day on the weekend (flexible times). Possibility to increase hours.**

Duties
- Assist the child with personal care, hygiene, and activities of daily living
- Observe and report on changes in child’s condition to parent/guardian
- Assist with ambulation, mobilization, transferring, and adaptive aids
- Demonstrate understanding of child’s needs and maximize abilities
- Provide cognitive, social, emotional, and psychological support to the child/parent/guardian
- Respond to client/parent/guardian concerns and ensure appropriate action is taken
- Assist in maintaining a safe and cleanly environment, including child’s equipment and belongings
- Notify supervisor of any concerns impacting child’s safety
- Complete all other tasks as assigned

**Qualifications**:

- Graduate of Personal Support Worker program or equivalent work experience
- Experience working with pediatrics
- Current CPR and First Aid certification
- Vulnerable Sector check within the last six months
- Valid driver’s licence and reliable vehicle

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 6 per week

**Salary**: $20.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

Work Location: One location
