The **2024 MS Bike - Waskesiu** is taking place Saturday, September 14th, 2024. The ride begins and ends at Waskesiu Community Hall, with the route taking cyclists through Point View, Birch Bay Marina, Shady Lake, and Namekus Lake.
MS Bike is the largest fundraising cycling series in North America. Cyclists of all ages and fitness levels across Canada come together each year to end Canada’s disease: multiple sclerosis. With hundreds of participants, volunteers are needed to help with every aspect of the entire event. This is a great opportunity to make an impact in your community using your talent and time.
We are looking for _route marshal_ volunteers to join our team and help support this amazing community event
**Route Marshal Volunteer**
You will provide support along the route to the cyclists by directing the participants in order to stay on course, ensuring cyclists are following route safely and cheering on participants.
Responsibilities include:
- Be stationed at one of the identified crossings/intersections
- Greet and cheer on participants
- Guide cyclists in proper direction
- Ensure cyclists are following the designated route safely

- Self‐motivated and reliable - able to fulfill duties on time
Time Commitment:
- Attend the event on **Saturday, September 14th, 2024** for 3‐ 6 hours depending on your commitment desire
