**Job Summary**

Full-time: 37.5 Hours per week, Monday to Friday

Location: Ottawa Office (70 Laurier Ave West, Suite 310, Ottawa, ON K1P 5V5)

**Key Responsibilities**
- Provide customer service and technical support to clients;
- Identify and document software and hardware problems;
- Perform network administration, including analyzing/designing/improving/maintaining IT infrastructure;
- Perform system maintenance tasks;
- Create and maintain user accounts and passwords;
- Test software and hardware to ensure proper functioning;
- Identify, analyze, and resolve network and IT security issues;
- Communicate electronically and in person with computer users experiencing difficulties in determining and documenting problems experienced;
- Consult user guides, technical manuals, and other documents to research and implement solutions;
- Provide advice and training to users in response to identified difficulties;
- Collect, organize, and maintain a “problems and solutions” log for use by other technical support analysts;
- Provide users with business systems, network, and Internet support in response to identified difficulties;
- Set up equipment for employee use, performing or ensuring proper cables, operating systems, or appropriate software installation;
- Perform Web-server backup and recovery operations; and,
- Other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**

**Required Technical Skills**
- 2-3 years of IT support experience;
- CompTIA A+ (required);
- AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred);
- Passion for learning and solving complex problems;
- Strong teamwork and communication skills;
- Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment;
- Self-motivated problem solver who continuously looks for ways to improve the safety, effectiveness, and efficiency of our IT Infrastructure;
- Organized and focused; and
