As a Barista, you will be responsible for creating delicious drinks and hot food, providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced café environment.

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages such as coffee, tea and specialty drinks
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Make pancakes and other light snacks
- Serve hot soups and borscht
- Operate espresso machines and other coffee making equipment
- Maintain a clean and orderly coffee shop area
- Process cash transactions using the POS system
- Assist in restocking the cafe
- Assist in the kitchen in preparing cookies, pastries and
- Provide friendly and prompt customer service
- Clean the area at the end of the shift

**Requirements**:

- Knowledge of food safety regulations in the food industry
- Excellent customer service skills with a willingness to assist customers
- Excellent time management skills to effectively multi-task
- Ability to work Friday and Saturday
- Basic math skills to measure ingredients and process cash transactions
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures and POS systems
- Previous experience in the catering industry or at the cash register will be a plus

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $15.20-$17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 30 per week
