What we are looking for?

Mosaic provides the opportunity to develop the necessary skills, knowledge, and abilities through training, practice, experience, examinations, and task observation to support technical services that are critical to the safe and efficient operation of the mine.

What will you be working on?
- Performing routine survey functions associated with mining machine advancement and mining room and panel layout.
- Conducting ventilation surveys including the measurement and recording of airflow, gases, and creation and auditing of ventilation plans.
- Updating, maintaining, filing, and distributing mine drawings.
- Assisting with the installation and maintenance of rock mechanics and ventilation instrumentation.
- Preparation and submission of monthly ore tons for royalty determination.
- Collection of ore samples and recording of ore grade data.
- Maintenance and calibration of equipment associated with surveying and ventilation.
- Assisting with special assignments related to mine productivity, grade control, inventory, shaft, and geotechnical projects.
- Maintaining inventory of survey, ventilation, and geotechnical equipment.

What is required for this role?
- Completion of a Geoscience, Mining, or Engineering Diploma or Degree from a recognized technical school or university.
- Have working knowledge of personal computers, spreadsheets, and database programs.
- Use of CAD software to perform drafting duties.
- Aptitude to conduct equipment evaluations.
- Ability to install, maintain, and repair geotechnical and ventilation equipment.
- Provide training, support, and guidance to other mine technicians, surveyors, and employees as required.
- Ability to safely operate a motorized or electric vehicle in the mine.
- Willingness to work from elevated platforms and manlifts.
- Diligently adhere to all relevant legal and environmental requirements.
- Diligently ensure that all relevant OH&S requirements and in-house safety regulations are complied with.
- Must be authorized to work in Canada.
