**Position Summary**

The Central Sanitation Associate (CSA or Dishwasher) supports the kitchen team during, before, and after large events at Bellamere. They are essential for helping the kitchen stay organized and run efficiently while maintaining a clean and organized workspace. Duties include washing, cleaning, and sanitizing dishes, tableware, glassware, pots, pans, and utensils.

**Primary Responsibilities**
- Responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and sanitation of dishes, tableware, glassware, pots, pans, and utensils through manual and machine cleaning methods for weddings, events, etc.
- Maintains a clean, safe, and organized workspace.
- Supports in assembly/plating as required by the Lead Event Cook.
- Be able to be flexible to issues or changes that may arise throughout the event.
- Works according to all of Bellamere’s health and safety standards.
- Wears proper personal protective equipment as required.
- Reports all accidents, illness, or “near miss” incidents to your Lead Event Cook or designate.
- Maintains the dry storage area, the organization of storage shelves, and cleans /dries floors throughout the shift.
- Changes water of machines and sinks as required and properly uses chemical dilutions set by EcoLab.
- Maintains garbage bins throughout the event, removing full bins and boxes, placing them in appropriate locations.
- Follows the posted daily dish cleaning duties.
- Supports kitchen staff if needed

**Key Accountabilities/Performance Standards**
- To be in uniform prior to the start of the shift.
- To ensure you sign in at the beginning of your shift, sign out at the end of your shift.
- To conduct yourself in a calm, ordered, and disciplined manner.
- A willingness to learn and an openness to feedback, coaching, and mentorship.
- A positive attitude and ability to work well under pressure with all staff.
- Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which includes following Bellamere’s dress code for CSA’s.
- Work safely and not use or operate any equipment in a way that may endanger any worker.
- To know how to use, maintain, and clean all service-related equipment.
- Capable of working on a team, in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
- Able to work in a predominately standing position for extended periods of time.
- Self-motivated with a high energy level.
- Willingness to comply with all food safety procedures.
- Exceptional time management skills.
- Comfortable working independently, taking direction, and capable of following instructions.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $17.55 per hour

Expected hours: 12 - 20 per week

Flexible Language Requirement:

- French not required

- 8 hour shift
- Evening shift
- Holidays
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
- Weekends as needed

Ability to commute/relocate:

- London, ON N6H 5K8: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
