Position**:Full-Time, Part-Time, and Casual Opportunities Available**

Compensation: Starting wage range $17.16 - $21.51 according to job assignment

Location: London, Strathroy, and Parkhill, ON

Schedule: Varied shifts: including evenings, weekends, overnights, and public holidays

**Roles & Responsibilities**:

- Positions involve working in short-term live-in treatment settings providing 24/7 support to children and youth
- Develop and maintain therapeutic relationships and attend to the diverse needs of youth
- Provide a safe and supportive environment for participants experiencing mental health diagnoses; remain calm and focused in crisis situations while utilizing effective de-escalation and decision-making skills
- Work with community social workers and other community partners to support involvement in person-centred programs that promote educational, behavioural, developmental, psychological, and emotional growth

**Qualifications**:

- Post-secondary education in Human, Community, and/or Social Services (e.g., SSW, CYC, Police Foundations)
- Minimum six (6) months of related experience supporting people with mental health diagnosis is preferred
- Demonstrated understanding of support requirements specific to the roles and responsibilities of the job
- Proficiency in both verbal and written communication
- Strong mentorship, advocacy, organization, communication, conflict resolution, and problem-solving skills, in addition to attention to detail while multi-tasking
- Ability to work collaboratively with the team, and independently as necessary
- Capacity to establish, implement, and maintain professional, and personal boundaries
- Multilingualism and having diverse lived experiences are considered assets
- Valid Class G (full) Driver’s License with a 3-year Uncertified Driver Record (mandatory)
- Satisfactory Police Vulnerable Sector Check with Humana listed as the employer (mandatory)
- Physical Health assessment: verification of up-to-date immunizations, COVID vaccination status (2 doses), and ability to meet the physical requirements of the position (mandatory)
- Current Standard First Aid & CPR (mandatory) *Level C with AED training preferred
