Bel Contracting ltd currently has an immediate seasonal opening for an experienced Pipe Layer.

Accommodations and travel to and from work site's are provided by the company.

salary based on experience.$30.00 to $36.00 per hour.

Location's : Wainwright,Bonnyville,Fort Mcmurray and Surrounding Area’s.

Essential: Hard-working, reliable, flexible with schedule, ability to work in physically demanding conditions

**Requirements**:

- CSA approved steel toed boots with 6” ankle support
- Valid Driver’s License (Class 5) clean abstract.

Pipe Layer Responsibilities:
= Inspection of materials and piping.

= Insure pipe ect is layed properly and on grade by lazer & level.

= Oversee installation of piping in the trench.

= Complete checks on grade and alignment.

= Lining up service connection locations, CB’s, MH’s, etc.

= Direct and signal heavy equipment operators.

= Install and repair a variety of water and sewer lines.

= Perform manual and labour intensive tasks as assigned.

= Direct placement of concrete into forms or onto surfaces according to grade.

= Load and unload tools, materials and equipment.

= Promote, execute and adhere to the company’s safety program, and encourage all employees,

subcontractors and consultants to adopt safety as a culture.

Qualifications and Experience:
Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Pipe Layer in Water and Sewer.

Ability to work in physically demanding work conditions.

- Weekend availability

**Experience**:

- construction: 2 years (preferred)
