**JOB PURPOSE**:
We are looking for an experienced Technical Project Manager to work within the AMT division, to manage, develop and implement new processes to be used in our manufacturing environment - embracing advanced RF, optical and microelectronic components, modules and sub-systems.

**NATURE OF DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Work directly with RF, optical and microelectronic product design and development teams to scope, implement and oversee process development engineering programs supporting direct customer programs and internal manufacturing programs.
- Generate schedules, work activities and resource plans to address programs.
- Manage projects and timelines in order to meet milestones and deliverables of various projects.
- Ensure that program activities are being addressed, that risks are identified, mitigation activities are addressed and key stakeholders are kept informed.
- Construct proposals in response to customer requests (RFPs, RFQs).
- The position has visibility with all major stakeholders; internal and external. Must be able to present and manage meetings in a complex environment, where there will be a requirement to manage expectations, be diligent in action tracking and provide accurate, timely and objective reporting.

**EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of direct and relevant experience.
- Has a strong background in project management; ideally in a technical environment.
- Has demonstrated skills in scoping and defining project deliverables, creating project plans, defining roles and responsibilities and rolling-up project costs.
- Has demonstrated experience managing complex programs under the direct scrutiny of stakeholder (internal and external), managing complex situations that require a calm approach, awareness of the various group dynamics and maintaining focus on the important activities and focal points.
- Ideally, has worked in an environment involving optical devices and/or microelectronic packaging.
