**Job description**

This is a live-in position, must relocation to building. This is a day time position Mondays to Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM and every other weekend. Hands on handyman experience with painting, drywall, small repairs, etc. would be an asset.

Salary is paid partially in rent and partially in wages for a TOTAL compensation of $33,000 per annum. Salary will be based on years of experience and knowledge of repairs and maintenance. Required maintenance experience working with painting, drywall, small repairs, etc.

We are one of the largest property management companies located in Durham Region.

**Responsibilities**
- Responsible for repairs and maintenance of the building (drywall, floors, painting, small repairs, etc.)
- Thorough cleaning of building in all areas.
- Be available to handle tenant’s requests, concerns, and complaints with good customer service and follow-up if necessary.
- Stripping and waxing of all floors and landings.
- Collect rent payments, update log for payments, close machine daily, completing various paperwork and run reports as required
- Process service orders in a quick, timely fashion and based on urgency. Prepare documentation and update property manager
- Deliver notices to tenants as required
- Conduct pre-vacate suite inspections and on-site building inspections.
- Handle small repairs, light bulb changes
- Handle move-in and move-outs inspections, coordinate service elevator bookings, pest control, parking passes, key distribution, recreation room bookings, outside service companies

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
