**Overview**

Commercial Truck Equipment is looking to add a Full-Time Permanent **Parts & Warehouse Assistant **to our head office production facility in Delta, BC.

**Responsibilities and Duties**
- Complete pick-up and delivery of parts, materials, and tools in a time efficient manner with proper communication back to the warehouse
- Communicate with vendors regarding the pick-up and delivery of parts as required
- Physically receiving material and putting into applicable location as directed by the service-production managers
- Moving parts and inventory around the yard and facility by hand or by forklift
- General shop and equipment maintenance and cleaning
- Transfer tools, components, parts, equipment, and supplies to and from workstations
- Assist in the receiving and stocking of new parts
- Maintain inventory
- Maintain a clean work area, including tools and equipment
- Working with hand tools and ladders
- Regular interaction with mechanics/technicians, shop staff, and managers
- Other duties as required by employer

**Qualifications and Experience**
- CSA Standard B335-15 - Industrial Lift Truck Operator Training is mandatory
- Valid Class-5 driver's license is mandatory, licensure above Class 5 is considered an asset
- High school diploma or GED
- Physically able to perform all duties and lift upwards of 50 pounds
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Pays attention to detail and monitors the quality of inventory
- Highly organized and able to store items efficiently
- Must follow all health and safety procedures and regulations as directed by the employer
- Experience in a warehouse/shop environment would be beneficial
- Forklift certification would be considered an asset
