Position Summary
The role of the Server Administrator is to support the ongoing activities and procedures required to manage and maintain a multi-hospital network and server infrastructure. With a primary focus on the server infrastructure, the Server Administrator delivers and supports Information Technology (IT) services at the expected levels.

The Server Administrator must routinely participate in technology projects and assist with initiatives from concept through to implementation and operations. Working closely with the Manager of Information Technology, the Server Administrator will ensure that the performance of the network and server infrastructure consistently meets or exceeds the expectations of our healthcare professionals and clinical users.

**Qualifications**:
**Education**:

- Required:

- Completion of a recognized post-secondary education certificate/diploma) in computer related field
- Advanced knowledge of legacy and current Windows platforms - Windows Server
- ITIL Certification
- Considered an Asset:

- Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA)
- Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE)
- Virtual Desktop Infrastructure / Thin Client
- Managing an enterprise-wide messaging system
- Experience with mobility solutions such as Apple, Android and other devices.

**Experience**:

- Experience in IT, with relevant experience in Windows Server Administration
- Experience working in a 7x24x365 highly secure environment
- Experience in MS SCCM, Patch Management, VMWare vSphere and Data Storage.
- Relevant experience in the Healthcare sector is preferred
- Experience working with a service desk and support of information systems.
