**Responsibilities**:

- Monthly full bookkeeping, accounting and tax compliance services including but not limited to accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, financial reporting including inventory
- Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded
- Monthly bank reconciliations, tax reconciliations and dues payable (HST, WSIB, Source Deductions, liquor taxes)
- Assist in the processing of balance sheets, income statements and other financial statements according to legal and company accounting and financial guidelines
- Assist with reviewing of expenses, payroll records etc. as assigned
- Annual T4 and T4 Summary, preparation of year end statements and management reports
- Update financial data in databases to ensure that information will be accurate and immediately available when needed
- Prepare and submit monthly reports
- Assist general manager in the preparation of monthly/yearly reports.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in accounting or other related fields is mandatory
- Wine industry related experience desired.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office and familiarity with relevant computer softwares
- Intermediate knowledge of Sage 50
- Experience with current computer accounting programs and reporting tools
- Detail and deadline-oriented
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in accounting field
- Excellent organizing abilities
- Great attention to detail
- Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 16-20 per week

**Salary**: From $25.00 per hour
