This position will be located within various locations in the Greater Vancouver Area, and primarily in person in our Surrey office/warehouse. The position also requires weekend availability.

**SUMMARY**:
Adventure Outdoors is looking for **Operations & Warehouse Specialist **to join our team. In this role you will be responsible maintaining our warehouse equipment as well as interacting with customers, providing demonstrations and participating in community activities. If you enjoy working in a physically demanding environment and providing top knotch customer service, then this position is for you

**REQUIREMENTS**:
The applicant must:

- Be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, has work permit, or person whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act for the duration of the employment
- Have a valid Social Insurance Number at the start of employment and are legally entitled to work in Canada in accordance with relevant provincial or territorial legislation and regulations.
- Be able to work evenings and weekends.
- Have Full BC Drivers License.
- Have a vehicle to be used as a delivery vehicle (fair compensation will be provided)
- *Forklift License an asset

**DAILY DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES & TASKS**:

- Assist with transporting equipment to and from our Surrey office
- Assist with handling bulky and heavy outdoor equipment
- Assist with instructing customers on the use of equipment and safety procedures
- Assist with installing and taking down car accessories
- Assist with maintenance of equipment in the warehouse as well as picking up and dropping off equipment to customers
- Process orders and ship them out

**Job Types**:

- Part Time Contractor with potential for full time employment transition

**Pay**:
$17.75 per hour

**Difficulty**: Entry

Contract length: 3 to 6 months with high likelihood of extension
