Description

As Product Manager, Physics Services, you will define, develop, deploy and manage physics services that help Elekta fulfil its promise to customers: Elekta Care By Your Side.

Value-Added Services (VAS) is a new division of Elekta, which owns clinical professional services offered by Elekta. The mandate of VAS is to identify customers needs in clinical use of Elekta technology and offer services to help customers get the most of their investment in Elekta technology. We plan to fulfil this mandate through identification and commercialization of a portfolio of pre-clinical and clinical professional services. Elekta VAS operates through a network of service-delivery partners across all our global regions.

The incumbent will own the full process for co-developing and commercializing products from roadmap management to deployment to market through Elekta’s regional sales infrastructure.

**Responsibilities**:
End-to-End product responsibility along assigned product lifecycle
- Contribute to a product strategy based on market, customer, and competitor analysis in line with portfolio and solution strategy.
- Support the generation of business cases
- Collection and prioritization of product market requirements.
- Keep current on competitor products and key market drivers
- Translate market requirements into solution configurations across hardware, software and services to meet market expectations - i.e., minimum-viable-product (MVP) and wow-factors.
- Coordinate product and service feature improvements based on market feedback together with D&E, service and marketing (e.g., customer pain points).
- Contribute to Elekta’s strategic goals across all relevant functions to achieve target KPIs.
- Act as/direct the portfolio representative in PCP and coordinate and prioritize feature backlog refinement and support PI planning.
- In parallel work with Marketing to coordinate commercialization activities with the regions.
- Monitor delivery of products according to product specification and within timelines.
- Manage product lifecycle decisions (EOS, EOGS, EOL) together with Marketing
- Identify external strategic innovation partners, negotiate and establish collaboration and distribution agreements
- Manage relations with strategic external partners
- Develop and commercialize products in Elekta through external partners

Relevant Knowledge, skills and competencies
- Medical Physicist degree (minimum Masters, doctorate preferred) is required.
- Clinical experience as a medical physicist is required.
- Clinical experience with Elekta linear accelerators is preferred.
- Demonstrated track record as a product manager or other relevant role in the medical device industry
- Curious, interested and demonstrated ability to understand complex technical solutions that combines hardware, electronics and software.
- Excellent skills in verbal and written communication in English, other languages such as French, Spanish or Portuguese are a merit
- Experience in working with external strategic partners is required. Skills in strategic and day-to-day alignment building with external partners is essential.
