Play It Again Sports is a leading North American sporting goods retailer dedicated to providing high-quality new and used sports equipment to athletes and families. We are passionate about providing exceptional customer service to our community, offering a wide selection of sports and fitness options from top brands including Nordica, Rawlings, Easton, Mizuno, HEAD, Warrior and more.

We are currently seeking a part-time employee who shares our passion for sports and fitness. As a member of our team, you will assist in various aspects of the store's daily operations, including customer service, sales, inventory management, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist customers in finding the right sports equipment and gear for their needs.
- Provide excellent customer service and product knowledge to help customers make informed choices.
- Operate the cash register and handle transactions accurately.
- Maintain a clean and organized store by restocking shelves and keeping displays neat.
- Assist with inventory management, including receiving and tagging merchandise.
- Help with store opening and closing procedures.
- Participate in regular team meetings and training sessions.

**Requirements**:

- Passion for sports and fitness, including hockey, ringette, alpine & XC ski, snowboarding, baseball, softball, and golf among others
- Strong customer service skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus.
- Availability to work weekday evenings, and weekends.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $15.00-$17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 32 per week
