To assist the Infrastructure staff to ensure the overall infrastructure of the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation (MCFN) is operating at an optimal level of performance by:

- Oversee the preservation and implementation of new and existing structures within the Organization.
- Assisting the Infrastructure staff in performing duties to ensure the proper operation and maintenance of the road system when required.
- Ensure buildings, properties, equipment and machinery are compliant with health and safety standards and are able to perform the functions for which they were designed;
- Assisting in the improvement and effectiveness of the services offered by the Public Works Department.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Self-Identify as First Nations, Metis, or Inuit
- Strong oral/written communication skills
- A minimum Grade 12 education, or recognized equivalent
- Minimum Valid Grade G Ontario driver’s license with willingness to upgrade to Graduate to DZ class
- Direct experience in grounds and building maintenance
- Direct experience in supervising and training of employees
- Good organizational skills
- Understand the requirements for inspection of buildings and grounds
- Ability to create and maintain daily personal logs along with building log books with up-to-date maintenance and repairs
- Ability to use applicable computers/computer software
- Ability to work with mínimal supervision
- Safe Food Handling Certificate or willing to obtain
- Provide satisfactory results of a CPIC with Vulnerable Sector Screening
