**What You’ll Do**

As the manager of the shift operation, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of the resource management process. You will overseeing the production of top-quality intermediates and finished products, adhering to operations plans, and operating process equipment in accordance with the highest industry standards. Maintaining compliance with Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), safety regulations, and divisional goals, while also meeting Key Performance Measures.

**Key responsibilities**
- Lead and oversee the daily operations of the Production Plant, providing guidance and direction to the Production department, and fostering a motivated and competent workforce.
- Promote a positive and open culture by fostering strong morale and motivation, encouraging open communication and feedback, and creating an environment where team members can flourish and develop their skills.
- Act as a mentor and coach to your staff, overseeing their training, development, and appraisal in line with HR requirements and procedures.
- Conduct regular performance reviews for direct reports, providing constructive feedback and identifying areas for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and guidelines, including issuing discipline when necessary, making proposals for rewards and sanctions, and enforcing compliance with production organization requirements, Manufex work processes, and other regulations.

**You bring**
- A high school diploma or equivalent; degree in engineering discipline or equivalent preferred + minimum 3 years’ experience in Manufacutring with a strong understanding and experience in chemical engineering (preferred)
- Proven ability to lead and manage a team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, including the ability to coordinate multiple resources and coach and develop staff.
- Strong technical capability and knowledge, including proficiency in operating personal computers and understanding of statistical process control, key performance indicators, and key operating parameters.
- Experience with root cause analysis tools, problem solving, and troubleshooting, with a strong focus on Safety, Quality, and Delivery in the production environment and understanding of GMP, OSHA, and other regulatory requirements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to make decisions and take appropriate actions to meet or exceed goals and targets for quality, safety, and productivity.
