A vacancy exists for a Caretaker at Holy Redeemer Catholic school (Sherwood Park) with a job allocation of 0.375 FTE (Full-Time Equivalent) working approximately 15 hours per week (Monday to Friday 6:30pm - 9:30pm). This position commences January 2, 2025.
- Opportunity to combine St Luke 3:00pm to 6:00pm and Holy Redeemer 6:30pm to 9:30pm may be considered.

The caretaker will have a good working knowledge of proper cleaning procedures and the use of cleaning agents and materials. The caretaker must work in accordance with the OH&S Act, school board policy and Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) protocol. The caretaker must have good communication skills as well as a good understanding of oral and written English. The caretaker must be able to work independently as well as effectively with others. The caretaker must have the ability to handle the physical demands of the job by using knowledge of appropriate lifting tools and techniques, ability to lift or carry items weighing 20-50 pounds, ability to reach high work areas with ladders and/or scaffolds and work at heights greater than 10 feet.

Salary Start Rate-$23.60/hour, Salary Job Rate-$24.78 per hour, and benefits will be as per the C.U.P.E. Local 1961 Collective Agreement. Applications will be received until 4pm, December 20, 2024.
