Music Director

**Job Overview**

Please Note: This position will require hours beyond the expected 6-8 hour range per week during Show Week (May 19-24).

**Responsibilities**
- Running rehearsals with the creative team.
- Leading and teach vocal exercises to the cast.
- Assessing cast members’ vocal ranges and opportunities for growth.
- Managing an audition process and working with the Director to cast participants.
- Working with the Production Team to carry out rehearsals, dress rehearsals, and bring the dramatic performance to completion on the stage.

**Qualifications**:

- Experience as a Music Director or similar role (music program, vocal coach, choir, etc)
- Ability to educate and inspire children and youth of diverse backgrounds
- Proficient in written communication for program planning
- First Aid/CPR Training or willingness to complete
- Vulnerable Sector Check

Rehearsals run Thursday 6-9pm, Sundays 2-5pm

**Job Types**: Part-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 15 weeks

Pay: $17.20-$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 6 - 8 per week
