**Job Overview**
**Duties**
- Conduct thorough dental examinations and assessments for patients of all ages.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
- Perform a variety of dental procedures, including fillings, extractions, crowns, and root canals.
- Educate patients on oral health practices and preventive care.
- Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants to ensure efficient patient flow and high-quality care.
- Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix or similar dental software.
- Stay updated on advancements in dentistry and participate in continuing education opportunities.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control procedures within the dental office.
**Qualifications**
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
- Valid state dental license to practice dentistry.
- Proficiency in medical terminology and familiarity with pediatric dentistry is preferred.
- Previous experience working in a dental office setting is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with patients and staff.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to providing exceptional patient care.
