How you will make contributions that matter...
Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the Attendant, Production II, is responsible for the manufacturing of cheese making in accordance with the standards and safety objectives established by the company.
- Focus on quality and customer satisfaction while complying with all policies and procedures of the Health and Safety and Food Safety program regulations
- Complete all processes related to the making of cheese (ex. pH testing, temperature, sampling, pumping & pressing, loading/unloading of curd, Threading, bagging & carting of cheese, set-up)
- Accurate completion of all required documents and sanitation procedures, including washing carts and skids before use
- Setup, takedown and sanitation of all parts and equipment when required, as per standard operating procedures
- Meet or exceed daily production efficiency requirements provided by Supervisor or Production Manager
You are best suited for the role if you
- Food/dairy/manufacturing experience an asset
- Accuracy, attention to detail, and good communication skills
- Strong hand-eye coordination and ability to multi-task
- Ability to read, write, and perform basic math
- Team player, but can also work independently
