**Job Overview**:
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Assist with troubleshooting and the repair of electrical, mechanical, and some hydraulic components on cranes
- Assist with set up and take down of cranes and hoists as needed, also complete dismantle and assembly of cranes either new from factory or in a refurbishment process
- Perform preventative scheduled maintenance and repairs to ensure safe and proper working order of cranes
- Complete all paperwork neatly and clearly at the end of each project to keep accurate and professional service records
- Commitment to Bigfoot Crane’s safety culture; responsible for personal safety and the safety of co-workers

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Experience working with Tower Cranes and/or Construction Hoists is considered an asset but not required
- Electrical knowledge along with motors, gearing and some hydraulics is desirable
- Must be willing to travel at times as required
- Dependable with strong problem-solving skills and an excellent written safety record
- Ability to communicate to others on how to troubleshoot equipment based on standard operating procedures and technical manuals
- Physically able and comfortable working at heights and in all weather conditions
- Strong interpersonal and trouble-shooting skills
- Excellent organizational and clear communication skills
- Able to contribute positively to a team environment
- Willingness and desire to learn new skills
- A self-starter and able to work under mínimal supervision
- Capacity to work upwards of 6 days a week and longer than usual 8-hour days when/if required
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License with a clean driver’s abstract
