**Trouw Nutrition** is seeking a curious, analytical and collaborative Pricing Analyst for our Okotoks, Alberta office.

**About The Role**:
Reporting to the Pricing Manager, our Pricing Analyst is responsible for using business logic, market intelligence, and budget expectations to manage and implement pricing strategies to achieve financial goals and customer satisfaction.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide timely margin analysis to management team and highlight opportunities for improvement, by analyzing pricing data, determining impacts of pricing strategies on market share and profitability
- Develop and execute on pricing strategy to enhance overall profitability including spot, contract, and pricelist pricing
- Generate pricelists and margin maintenance reports, focussing on data integrity and accuracy.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, nutrition, formulation, procurement, finance, and production teams to ensure profitability and customer satisfaction
- Innovate on current pricing practices, including problem solving in relation to pricing and margins

**Skills and Expertise**
- Microsoft Office expertise, Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Experience with Business Intelligence/Big Data software such as PowerBI, Tableau or CognosTM1
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail required
- Excellent organization and time management skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Demonstrates quantitative and problem-solving skills

**Qualifications**:

- University degree, preferably in Marketing, Finance, Accounting, or other Business disciplines
- 1-2 years of Business Experience

- Understands the impact of market conditions and the impact of the competitive environment on pricing strategy
