**Job Overview**
**Responsibilities**:
- Manage day-to-day operations of the showroom, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for customers.
- Drive sales by engaging with customers, understanding their needs, and providing tailored solutions.
- Negotiate sales terms and close deals effectively while maintaining customer satisfaction.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and ensure proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop strategies that enhance showroom performance.
- Utilize Sketchup or similar software to assist customers in visualizing products in their spaces.
- Maintain inventory levels and assist in restocking merchandise as needed.
- Provide training and support to showroom staff on product knowledge and sales techniques.
- Foster relationships with customers through follow-ups and personalized service.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures within the showroom.
**Qualifications**:
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in a retail or showroom environment.
- Strong negotiation skills with a track record of closing sales.
- Proficiency in cash handling and basic math skills for transaction accuracy.
- Multilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse customers.
- Experience in outside sales or inside sales is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with design software such as Sketchup is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Excellent communication skills in English; additional languages are beneficial.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also demonstrating leadership capabilities.
**Job Type**: Part-time
Pay: $18.00-$28.00 per year
Expected hours: 20 - 30 per week
