**JOB OVERVIEW**

The Logistics & Warehouse Coordinator / Sales Support role is important like every other role within STG.

The role of Logistics & Warehouse focuses primarily on supporting the movement of products from vendor to client in an expedient manner.

The Sales Support portion of the role is to assist and participate in Sales-oriented duties.

The incumbent is expected to collaborate seamlessly with other team members and to appropriately share the workload. Required to have good organizational and time management skills - able to work under pressure and where required, spread any workload spikes to other team members. Expected to learn and understand the warehouse and sales processes, and to assist with goods inward / outward, as well as packing and packaging, where required.

**GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES**
- Prompt response (and follow-up) to support the sales department related to customer sales inquiries: determining product quality, quantity, turnaround, and other requirements from the customer; providing pricing, availability and other relevant information to the customer.
- Support the completion of quotations within the ERP CRM (and where necessary, follow-up of quotations) in conjunction with the sales department.
- Management and operation of the warehouse (and yard) and ensuring all areas are kept safe, clean, and organized
- Maintain accurate delivery dates on all orders and ensure all relevant documents are attached to each PO so that all staff can easily follow them.
- Proactively follow up on due orders (before they become overdue).
- Work closely with Management to ensure cash flow levels of the company are a purchasing priority including staged purchasing where necessary to minimize the length of time stock is held in the warehouse.
- Liaise with suppliers to build relationships and ensure the best pricing and lead times. Source alternative suppliers as required. Where appropriate, set up Contract Pricing with suppliers to the benefit of STG.
- Manage inventory processing to ensure product availability for timely customer shipments, incl. maintaining minimum and maximum levels of goods based on sales forecast and normal market demand
- Conducts regular cycle count and evaluates/analyzes any inventory variance.
- Assist with warehouse duties, as required, including pulling and packing orders, receiving, and putting away stock (and compliance with dangerous goods requirements)
- Required to take appropriate care for own health and safety and avoid adversely affecting the health and safety of any other person at work through any act (or omission)
- Must comply with all company and legislative policies and regulations
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Other duties as required. We are a small, fast-moving company and every employee is required to complete tasks outside of their job description where and when required

The Logistics & Warehouse / Sales Support role requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in one or all, of the following**:Logistics, Procurement or Sales**, preferably in the mining, laboratory, or supply sectors.

A good understanding of geography, transport, and shipping. Competent with Microsoft Windows and Office, incl. Word, Excel, and Outlook. Previous experience with CRM platforms is an advantage. Expected to have excellent verbal and written communication skills and be an active listener.

**QUALIFICATIONS OR LICENSES**
- Must have: A current driver’s license
- Optional: Spanish or French is an asset but not required
- Optional: Training in identifying and handling of Dangerous Goods

Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
