Peoples Group offers a flexible and hybrid work environment. In this role you will work a combination of in-office and remotely from home. Typically, you'll be working regular business hours, Monday to Friday between 8:00am and 4:30pm with flexibility around start & end times.

**About you / qualifications**:

- You bring 6-8 years of experience in quality assurance
- You have extensive background in API testing
- You're an expert using Postman Tool and Rest Assured Java based framework for day-to-day deliverables
- You're excellent in driving the QA Team
- You bring Experience working in challenging environments, identify the gaps in API documentation and drive the Testing process
- Experienced in Agile scrum
- An advocate for the customer in reviewing requirements, designs and discussing development with peers and QA leadership.
- An expert with developing test methodologies, diving into domain & engineering stack to identify potential bottlenecks, performance degradations, and race conditions.
- You have excellent verbal & written communication skills.
- You bring excellent interpersonal skills and collaboration experience with the rest of the test & engineering team members to drive quality & automation.

**About the day-to-day**:

- Manages, motivates and develops direct reports through ongoing performance development
- Lead and drive end to end test life cycle for a given product or set of features
- Direct, mentor, and support team of QA Analysts in execution of test strategies on the assigned products
- Along with Agile teams, develop and manage test strategies that will include approaches for test data, regression testing and automation methodologies to ensure higher quality delivery and test coverage
- Promote QA standards and best practices across Agile teams
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment that supports production and maintenance level changes
- Ability to do high level impact analysis and test approaches, identifying opportunities for process or technology improvements
- Work with Scrum teams to set standards and complete root cause analyses and corrective action plans to ensure higher quality test coverage throughout the life cycles
- Advise on status, risks, and resolutions as they relate to testing and quality assurance
- Drive and contribute to the Manual and Automation test strategy, stability, performance, scalability, and related Quality/team metrics
- Provide hands-on test support when necessary to verify front-end and back-end changes, user workflows, database, API, security, performance, mobile device, browsers
- Collaborate with Customer Success to provide analysis on feature requests and bug reports
- Act as a self-starter, taking initiative in identifying, prioritizing, and addressing problems and opportunities for improvement
- Display strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, troubleshoot issues, perform debugging and root-cause analysis, and propose innovative solutions.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work well in cross-functional teams
