**Education**:
Possesses a computer-aided design and drafting diploma, or similar degree or combination of skills and experience.
**Responsibilities**:
- Producing accurate and detailed civil design drawings, figures and calculations using AutoCAD Civil3D.
- Creation and analysis of surfaces, alignments, cross-sections and grading, determining slopes, areas and volumes.
- Importing various spatial data (e.g. LiDAR other survey formats) and correcting to common datums.
- Processing topographic/bathymetric survey data for design and drafting.
- Creating logical layouts for civil design drawings (plan and profile views, details).
- Interpreting and communicating site plan content.
**Core Competencies**:
- Proficient with AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Technical accreditation is an asset
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proven time-management skills to meet deadlines
- Ability to work in the field with limited direction
- Works well independently or as part of a team
**Other Beneficial Skills/ Experience**:
- Land surveying or/or hydrographic Drafting in SolidWorks or other 3D modelling (bathymetric) surveying software
- knowledge of CSA and/or BC Building Code Experience using GIS software
- OHS Level 1 First Aid;
