Offsite-lead Cook

Gilt Catering is seeking an Off-site Catering Lead to join our growing team We are a catering company located in St Jacobs ON, that caters to our locally owned weddings venues, in house parties, corporate and local businesses. Our main focus is providing large scale gourmet events catering for our sister brands with The Stella Collective. Gilt Catering’s kitchen is located in one of The Stella Collective's own Cellar52 Gilt Catering provides high standard catering from an extensive menu for various event personalities. Responsibilities/Expectations:

- Read all documents assigned to you for leading an event to ensure success
- Connect with FOH lead for optimal clarity on event days schedule, and any special details that need attention
- Lead team members on the daily completion of prep for designated event days
- Connect with prep organizer to ensure all your prep is where it needs to be event day
- Lead teams members assigned to their event and delegate roles for the event day
- Make sure all prep and packing is organized for your event be that on site or offsite
- Conduct yourself in a professional manner at off sites to maintain good relationships
- Ensure that standards are being met each and every event beginning with prep and ending with service, both in the food and how we present ourselves as Stella Co and Gilt representatives
- Ensure processes are being used
- Make sure off site equipment bins are well kept and that the dishwashers are putting everything back in the right bins
- Everything that is to stay at our preferred venues is properly cleaned and stored before leaving
- When going to an off-site you properly set up upon arrival keeping organized and clean so whichever venue we are in knows we respect their space
- Relay any important information to other leads, and managers
- Address any issues with co-workers in a positive and supportive manner
- Contribute positive feedback to allow for company growth
- Contribute to positive work atmosphere by showing your beautiful uniqueness
- Assist in the growth of others and communicate when you think someone else would have the better tools to assist those who need a little support

**Qualifications**:

- Kitchen Management Experience
- Excellent time management skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- Experience with fast paced cooking
- Team Player Mentality
- Must Drive, Non-negotiable

**Salary**: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
