As a critical part of Wicket Professional Services, the UX Team works closely with our clients through the implementation process to understand their core business needs and processes, user goals and challenges, and the member and admin experiences. In collaboration with Wicket implementation Specialists, the UX Team helps to design the solution architecture and oversee the execution of our integrated solutions.

As the Team Lead, you will be responsible for managing our team of UX Researchers and Designers, offering coaching and support, defining the UX direction of our professional services projects, setting overall User Experience strategies for the company, and supporting business development efforts by providing sound UX advice for proposed solutions to Wicket customers.

The UX team plays a role throughout the life of the project. We are heavily involved in the earlier stages of a project; we ask the questions, we focus on the user, we capture the needs and goals of clients, we prototype, validate, and repeat.

**Your key responsibilities include**:
**Leadership**:

- Lead and produce top-notch creative and UX work for our clients and internal projects
- Oversee and manage your direct reports in terms of their:

- Project priorities
- Quality of work
- Train and maintain on our processes
- 1:1 bi-weekly check-ins
- Quarterly performance reviews
- Run quarterly UX Team retrospectives with your team
- Help to manage all UX and Creative software licenses and stay abreast of and make recommendations on new and improved software
- Contribute to proposal writing and client pitches from a UX perspective, when necessary
- Participate in Professional Services ‘Management Team’ duties
- Monthly meetings
- Quarterly strategic review and planning meetings
- Annual strategic planning sessions
- Leading and guiding the UX approach to WooCommerce / WordPress / Wicket integration
- Contribute to hands-on UX Research and Design work
- Aid in the recruitment process for hiring new team members
- Support Project Managers in resource allocation and planning

**Research + Discovery**:

- Analytics review and analysis
- Content audits and inventories
- Usability test plans
- Usability tests (card sorting, A/B testing, tree tests, eye tracking, etc)
- Planning and conducting user interviews
- Planning requirements gathering exercises
- Facilitating stakeholder working sessions
- Competitive analysis
- Persona development and empathy mapping
- Story mapping
- Usability reviews/Heuristics analysis

**UX Design**:

- Information architecture development
- Process map/workflow development
- Wireframes development
- Clickable prototype development
- Configuration planing and recommendations

**Communicate results of discovery, research, prototyping and testing to the team and to clients by**:

- Presenting in meetings
- Writing up findings
- Creating discovery documentation in various formats
- Creating user stories to communicate requirements

**Familiarity with any of the following would be considered an asset**:

- Business Analysis
- Figma, InVision, Sketch
- Accessibility standards
- CSS/HTML
- Wordpress CMS
- WooCommerce
- Content strategy
- SEO best practices
