**Your days will include**:

- Responsible for data collection, data entry, and reporting for various Health & Safety programs
- Investigating and reporting incidents. Identifying incident causes, and implementing corrective and preventative measures
- Tracking, recording, maintaining, and reporting incidents and near-miss data to identify and analyze trends
- Developing and reviewing account-specific processes and procedures to reduce H&S risks and improve performances
- Monitoring and enforcing compliance with all internal and external health and safety requirements including: Atmospheric testing, Equipment inspections, Fire-extinguisher inspections, Construction inspections, Other inspections are required
- Conducting weekly operation and equipment inspections, job observations; H&S audits and other types of reviews to monitor compliance to H&S requirements
- Developing Safe Work Procedures and Job Hazards Analysis
- Communicating observations, non-compliance, and risks to stakeholders, and provide and implementing corrective and preventative measures
- Assisting in the development and deploys H&S communication to account team members
- Participating as a member, and co-chair of various committees, programs, and initiatives
- Conducting internal safety training including curriculum development, training validation and tracking
- Special projects and other duties as assigned

**To succeed in this role, you need to possess**:

- Working knowledge of Manitoba Regulation 217, CSA Z432, CSA Z1004, and CSA Z94.4
- Experienced in developing and reviewing SWPs and JHA’s
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently
- Strong focus on food safety and workplace safety
- Experienced safety trainer a definite asset
- Post-secondary in Health & Safety related program
