NEXT has strategically located local warehouses across and beyond the GTA, each with a full quantity of inventory and strong, strategic delivery capabilities.**

**Shift: Monday to Friday 12pm-8pm**

**Overview**:
Receiving Clerks are responsible for the smooth flow of received goods and supplies. Accurate physical receiving of materials/product in order to maintain integrity of inventory control and insures delivery of materials/product to the proper department. Handle any assigned receiving, putting away and replenishment activities.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Schedule all inbound deliveries; ensure purchase order numbers are on all paperwork.
- Receive product deliveries.
- Record and check quantity and quality of goods received.
- Inspect, accept, or reject inbound shipments.
- Put away material in a timely manner.
- Communicate and coordinate with appropriate buyer for product returns.
- Properly input received material into computer system and forward proper documentation toaccounts payable.
- Deliver product to appropriate personnel - ensure all pathways are kept clear.
- Perform other duties as assigned to meet operational needs.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees, supervisors, and managers.
- Maintain a safe work environment.
- Wear personal protective equipment as required.
- Assist in other departments as required.
- Heavy Lifting required as necessary.

**Qualifications**:

- Must have product knowledge.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Must be customer service oriented.
- Must be able to multitask and problem solve.
