**Our team** researches, develops, implements and supports innovative technologies used to improve the manufacturing processes and processes used at the Centre Manufacturier St-Laurent in order to reduce manufacturing costs, reduce cycle times, eliminate non-conformities and all sources of waste.
**In your role, you will contribute to**:
- Lead projects to optimize manufacturing processes for aluminum & composites parts in the fields of machining and routing;
- Support the conduct of tests;
- Participate in process reliability studies;
- Research new technologies to be used in production;
- Participate in research and development projects related to the field of metal panel shaping and assembly;
- Planning, monitoring and operational control of projects for which you will be responsible;
- Support the acquisition of various equipment for the manufacturing workshop.
**Qualifications**
- You have a D.E.C. or bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Automated Production Engineering or Industrial Engineering, or any other relevant experience;
- You have a minimum of five (5) to ten (10) years of experience in manufacturing processes in the aerospace industry (Asset);
- You master the basic principles of mechanics, materials (Aluminium and/or composites) and manufacturing processes such as heat treatment, forming,...;
- You are proficient with Catia V5 software;
- You are innovative;
- You are resourceful and have a sense of initiative;
- You are analytical and problem-solving;
- You express your written and verbal ideas clearly and concisely;
- You demonstrate autonomy.
