IT Technician

ITR Laboratories Canada has been servicing the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries for over 30 years and has established itself as a trusted partner worldwide in Drug Safety Testing. We are actively seeking an **IT Technician** to join our team as we continue to expand our reach and services.

**Main Responsibilities**:

- Analyze, diagnose and resolve technical issues and escalate tickets
- Verify daily and monthly backups and manage user accounts
- Manage workstations, servers, network, backup and storage devices
- Configure, deploy, troubleshoot and provide hardware and software support including computers, laptops, VPN clients and printers;
- Facilitate computer repairs with suppliers to ensure equipment is properly maintained and corporate standards are met.
- Maintain documentation for processes, procedures and inventory, and document any changes made to the systems;
- Supports IT Project work as needed;
- Other related tasks;

**Requirements**:

- At least one-year of experience in IT technical support
- Experience with Microsoft Windows Server & Workstation Operating System;
- Experience with Active Directory and user Management;
- Knowledge of Networking;
- Experience with Backup systems;
- Good experience with Microsoft Office products;
- Knowledge of Computerized Systems validation - asset;
- Familiar with Pharmaceutical Industry regulation (GLP, FDA) - asset;
- Team work;

**Please note that this position is a paternity leave replacement of 10 months with possibility of extension and permanency.**
