**Job Summary**: The Machine Operator will be responsible for operating/setting up the Automated Card Inspection Machine and overseeing/coordinating with the personal resources associated with this machine helper's daily production. This role reports daily totals to the Supervisor, Card Finishing and performs daily audit functions on the work in progress.
- **Shift**: Sunday - Friday, 10:30 pm - 6:30 am
- **Responsibilities**:

- Set up and operate the Auto Inspection Machine as required
- Train new operators and assist in evaluating their performance
- Responsible for checking production orders prior to the start of every shift for job requirements
- Work closely with Auxiliary Operators and Quality and Production personnel to define the inspection standards for the Auto Inspection Machine
- Responsible for meeting all Service Level Agreements (SLA’s) deliverables
- Responsible for following quality checks and procedures set by the Management and Quality Control Department
- Follow daily schedule and productivity standards set for Auto Inspection equipment byLeadhand is mandatory
- Train new hires as required
- Organize and clean workstation and machine after each shift
- Complete all daily paperwork and audit control sheets daily
- Comply with G+D Environmental, Health & Safety policies, procedures and report any Environment, Health & Safety hazards, incidents and concerns to the immediate supervisor
- Other duties as assigned

**Qualifications, Experience and Educational Requirements**:

- A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Machine Operator is preferred
- High School Diploma is preferred

**Skills and Competencies**:

- Must be able to read and write in English
- Must be organized and a good multi-tasker
- Basic computer knowledge is an asset

**Working Conditions**:

- Overtime and weekend work at times may be required

**Physical Requirements**:

- Ability to work standing on both feet 100% of the time while operating machinery
- Ability to lift 10 - 50 lbs from the floor, up to waist level, frequently
- Ability to frequently bend, lift, walk, crouch and kneel
- Requires keen eyesight and alertness to detail
- May be required to work long periods of time at a computer screen
