Mailroom Clerk

Reporting to the Manager, Mailroom, the Mailroom Clerk is responsible for processing all incoming and outgoing mail/courier/cheques. They are also responsible for receiving deliveries and ensuring that these are distributed to the appropriate department/person.
**Duties**:
- Sort and distribute incoming mail and packages to appropriate departments or individuals
- Collect outgoing mail and packages from various departments and ensure they are properly labeled and prepared for shipment
- Operate mailroom equipment such as postage meters, letter folding machines, envelope sealers and scanners
- Coordinate with couriers and shipping companies to schedule pickups and deliveries
- Ensure the mailroom is clean, organized, and free from any safety hazards

- Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate sorting and distribution of mail and packages

**Salary**: From $18.20 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:
- Sudbury, ON P3C 1S8: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
**Education**:
- Secondary School (required)
**Experience**:
- Administrative: 1 year (preferred)
