**Full Time Day Position**

Springwater Residential Centre is currently hiring for a Developmental Service Worker (DSW), Social Services Worker (SSW) or a Child Youth Worker (CYW), for our supported individuals (Ages 14-18) for a full time day position.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide one on one and group support to clients through daily living, life skills, and community involvement.
- Provide support to individuals with various diagnosis from Autism, Developmental Delay, FASD, Brain injuries, etc.
- Support clients in their daily living activities such as, but not limited to, meal preparation, walking (in the community), recreational activities, relationship building techniques, behavioural supports etc.
- Demonstrate interest in each individual and reinforce positive behaviour to build relationships with clients and their families.
- Provide and teach conflict resolution, and problem-solving supports to clients.
- Encourage participation in activity programs
- Utilize Crisis Prevention & Intervention practices to de-escalate and stabilize a client when in a state of crisis and/or presenting with high-risk behaviours.
- Report to Shift Supervisor and Program manager.

**Qualifications**:

- College Degree in related field OR currently attending
- Valid G Drivers licence and access to reliable vehicle (not required but preferred)
- First Aid and CPR Level C required
- Vulnerable Sector Screening/Police check (current or within the last 6 months)
- Signed Medical sheet required
- Availability to work 12 Hour shifts over a consistent 2 Week Schedule: _**Week 1**_ (5 days of work) Mon, Tues, Fri, Sat, and Sun _**Week 2**_ (only 2 days of work) Wed and Thurs

All additional training will be provided and paid for after hired

**Job Types**: Full time (80-86 hours bi-weekly guaranteed)

**Rate**: $20.50 hourly (Plus an extra $3/hour wage enhancement pay)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $20.50-$23.50 per hour
