**Anti-Money Laundering and Anti-Terrorist Financing (AML/ATF) Analyst**

Location Mississauga -Onsite

This position reports to the Chief Anti-Money Laundering Officer (CAMLO) and works under the supervision of Assistant Manager, Compliance.

The position is primarily responsible for providing support in performing the following functions:
1. Weekly screening of clients’ data base and escalation of potential,

2. Maintaining negative lists created by the Bank in the name screening solution,

3. Review of alerts generated by the transactions monitoring system,

4. Ongoing Transactions’ Monitoring,

5. Preparation of suspicious transaction reporting approval forms,

6. Reporting of suspicious transactions to FINTRAC,

7. Tracking and record keeping of suspicious transactions reported to FINTRAC,

8. Self-assessment of functions performed by the Compliance Team,

9. Conducting enhanced due diligence and maintaining database of high-risk clients,

10. Preparation and submission of internal logs, and

11. Performing other functions as assigned on time-to-time basis.

**Job Requirements**
- 2-3 years experience in a risk management function, such as compliance, internal audit, or operational risk management, will be an asset.
- Experience in preparing and submitting compliance or risk related, internal or external, reports will be an asset.
- Must be able to work independently in a fast-paced and time sensitive environment and meet deadlines.
- Good data analysis skills, preferably in analyzing trends and patterns in financial transactions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
- Good communication, oral and written, and organizational skills

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months

**Salary**: $17.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Mississauga, ON L5B 1M5: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
