We are seeking a Head Cider / General Manager This is a full-time, year round, permanent position with competitive pay and many perks.

**The Job**
- Oversee and manage all aspects of Sea Cider's operations and business activities
- Develop and implement strategies to achieve company goals and objectives
- Monitor performance and productivity of employees to ensure efficient operations
- Oversee all aspects of cidermaking, train cider team Associates, and step in to help in the tank room as needed
- Work collaboratively with the other Managers to create and maintain budgets, financial reports, and forecasts
- Continually fine tune policies and procedures to maintain a safe and productive work environment
- Build and maintain relationships with clients, vendors, and other stakeholders
- Lead and motivate a team of employees to achieve high levels of performance
- Stay updated on industry trends and changes to ensure the organization remains competitive

Comprehensive training will be provided, including training on Sea Cider's leadership and how we craft award-winning cider

**The work week is 8:30am to 4:30pm, Monday through Friday. Pay is between $60,000 and $85,000,** depending on prior experience, qualifications and assigned responsibilities. Other benefits:

Sea Cider is a certified organic farm near Victoria BC that grows heirloom apples and produces award-winning cider and sparkling juice. **About You**

You have the technical know-how and passion to craft award-winning beverages. Just as importantly, you have an aptitude for leadership, team building, and creating a positive, inclusive, supportive work culture. As well, you have:

- **Education**: Formal training and certification in cidermaking, winemaking or brewing. Plus, Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field (or equivalent experience)
- **Vocational experience**; cidermaking, winemaking or brewing - at least 5 years. Plus, demonstrated success in implementing business principles, practices, and strategies.
- **Leadership**:Proven experience in a managerial or leadership role - at least 5 years.
- **Communication & teamwork**: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A gift for collaborating with others and giving feedback so that it is well received. Demonstrated success in teamwork and helping to foster an inclusive, positive work environment.
- **Personal aptitude**:Ability to make sound decisions under pressure. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Curiosity, great listening skills and an openness to feedback
- **Work week flexibility**: Able to work a Monday to Friday "8:30 to 4:30" work week, but willing to work flexible hours to meet the needs of the business.
- **Physical requirements**:The physical ability to operate beverage production equipment, operate a forklift, work in a cold and wet environment, work standing up for hours at a time, and the physical strength to safely and manually lift up to 25 kg several times daily.
